re: anything positive to talk about?

Yes!

For those with cash, or a job that earns more than they are spending, Mr. Market is currently holding a once-a-decade sale on stocks. Many quality names are 50%, 80%, even 90% off regular Bubble prices. Stocks are selling at prices last seen in 1995-1998, often at a small multiple of cash. Zero growth is priced in, for the likes of JDSU and EMC.

The proof that we should be buying now, is the massive record redemptions from stock mutual funds. The crowd is wrong, always.

The only people who should be unhappy with today's low prices, are people who have to sell now.
