The third is that it facilitates being a reasonable and decent person. If you are kind or generous, it's because you want to be, not because the other person expects it or is entitled to it or deserves it.

I'm not sure it really facilitates being reasonble and decent, but it doesn't get in the way. Under other moral codes you are also kind or generous because you want to be. You may want to be because you feel it is morally right rather then because you feel it is in your enlightened self interest. Actually I suppose many feel that it is both morally right and in their enlightened self interest. The two ideas are frequently not opposed.
