Tom, I liked the story I heard recently about some Russian journalists who got a chance to tour the U.S. post 9/11. They were astonished. Having grown up in the Soviet era of Tass and Pravda, they thought they knew a thing or two about a muzzled press. When they saw what was available to the U.S. reader on the newsstand they absolutely marvelled. They said that it would have been impossible to have the complete corporate press in total lockstep with the current Administration propaganda and disinformation campaigns on the Soviet newstand as is currently the sad reality of our cuckolded press.
