PMCS and VTSS - former high flying communication chip companies both have converts.

PMCS's is a 3.75% due 8/15/06, and is currently at 66.25, yielding 5.66% currently and 15.77% YTM (according to convertbond.com). The stock is at 3.49.

VTSS's is a 4% due 3/15/05, and is currently at 72, yielding 5.56% currently and 18.87% YTM. The stock is at .70.

Both companies have few sales, but lots of cash. The bonds look attractive, especially if the companies start buying the bonds in the open market. Again, it would be in the stockholders best interest if they were to start buying them (especially for VTSS).
