I believe most people who are bullish are bullish because the market is oversold. Many contrarian indicators are at levels very close to indicating an inescapable rally in our not so distant future but it may not be anything more than a short term bull run in a much longer, deeper, bear market. When we get another decent bottom I think we will see the VIX back over 50 on another 90% down day with volume well over 2 billion shares. Anyway, I essentially agree we are near a bottom. I just think the market could drop quite a bit further before we get there in a very short period of time. RtS
