I don't think a delay in ending the Iraq war (begun about a decade ago) will help the market. I have a hunch (FWIW) that an invasion will quickly help the market.

I don't see any fundamental reason interest rates shouldn't be lower. I think the fed has kept them artificially high for a long time. Lower rates would surely help the markets.
