Dennis FIRST --another great day! I see rain hit a high of 29 during the day. The King of Prussia Mall is the largest mall on the east coast and the second largest in the country. It was built by Kravco and was initially 2.6 million sq. ft. In the last two years they added 1.3 million more square feet. The new tenants are Hecht's (May co) Lord and Taylor Neiman and Marcus ( or something like that) Nordstrom and they had Bloomingdales Sears Penny Macy's etc. I understand they have more stores than mall of america but we don't find the recreation. The Penn State hgwy has an exit in front of the mall. We have a highway out from Phil( Schuylkill) and we have another heavy federal highway rte 202 that all go right by the mall. On the weekends after 11am you have problems getting into it and finding parking althought they have added a bunch. They have done a super job in upscale of the mall. The new upper price Nordstrom Neiman etc have a mall area that is remarkable. If rainforest Cafe is going in here there it should be very successful. The merchants in the area and the mall are turning King of Prussia into a historical and shopping tourist are. We are on top off valley forge, and in town you many sights the liberty bell etc. What they are doing are putting packages out for a stay in the area, Next time down the mall I will see if they have some statistics.
