Searle, what I just pointed out was that EACH generation has been bamboozled. the-privateer.com I'm assuming the above chart has numbers that are in the ballpark. I missed the inflation of debt under Roosevelt attempting to get the US out of Depression, otherwise my dates pretty much check out. Especially notice what war does to debt--staggering. War is the ultimate dissipater of resources. axaonline.com Interesting chart as well (scroll down). Note that once you are a year into inflation outpacing stocks, it is time to get back into stocks.
