but the thing is, these bastards all have mansions and racing cars, they can put their kids in the best schools and seclude themselves from the world with pools, chefs, luxuries we will never be able to afford and never REALLY be held accountable for what they did here.. Thats what sickens me.. As much as I hate Martha Stewart, is it amazing that with all that we know has gone down from the analysts to the Ken Lays, Koslowskis etc etc that SHE is the poster child with a measley $400,000 insider trade???
With all that has happened with Anthony Elgindy since his arrest, his past, etc etc, one thing nobody can take from him and that is that he was one of the only people screaming during the bull that it was all going to end.. The higher it goes? the harder the fall.. He even described how the fall would be slow at first because everyone would deny it was coming to an end, and people would dig under couch cushions and car seats for that last drop of money to throw away in hopes of making it back..
Accountability.. nobody is held accountable so long as you can write the check for a good attorney.. and from the looks of it- there will soon be two classes in America, have and have not.. no middle class.. and that scares me because history shows what happens with that :( |
