Actually that article wasn't too bad. I mostly agree with their analysis of the EDA industry. (I spent 16 years in EDA, and worked in R&D for both major companies, so I usually detect BS pretty well).

SNPS is indeed the best stock to pick. CDN is going to be slowly ground down by superior SNPS technology over the next few years. And yes, EDA is a relatively resilient although slow-growth business.

However, I differ in the basic premise that tech stocks should be owned at all. EDA may be a good way to lose lesss money, but cash will beat most Nasdaq stocks until Naz gets down around 700. Just IMO of course.
