Examples of CTI Apps?

I could use some help from the DLGC board. I was trying to explain CTI
to people at work. Obviously the early users are call centers ("screen
pops") and IVR apps ("push 1 to check your balance, push 2 to . . .").
What other apps are DLGC solution providers working on?

Longer-term I believe that the average company will use CTI to
get rid of their proprietary and expensive PBX's. In addition to
saving $$$,what do you think the most popular apps will be here? Auto
dial is too mundane. Call accounting? Call routing?
