Comparing market values then to market values now can be misleading i wasn't comparing market values. i was comparing price per share. CSCO's share count is now somewhere around 7BILLION, priced at 9 bucks apiece. CSCO's price in 1990 got down to 8 cents, and i imagine the share count was somewhat less than today...
