I'm considering shorting T. Many analysts say it will go into the 20's; '98 eps reported in some publications as minus 25%; pe 9.8, while overall market is above 20, indicating market doesn't have much faith that this price will hold; recent management fiasco; friends who work there say they have so many reorganizations they don't even read the memos anymore, and their budgets are all cut 10% across the board w/ no travel, so they spend weeks in the office doing what a 1 day trip would accomplish; even the SI board posters don't recommend buying at this point (that's a pretty clear short indicator to me----when did you EVER see an SI board that repeatedly indicated "don't buy"!) Comments welcomed.
