Well Max, going into the bye week, looking at all things ... I think we're on track. First, all you ever hear is the Birds can't stop the rush ... I think it's time the experts started looking at the numbers .... Taylor 48 yards on 21 rushes .... Emmitt Smith ... Stephen Davis .... Eddie George .. same thing .... so I'm not concerned with the D line against the rush. The two games we've lost ... we really weren't beaten, we beat ourselves ... So, this all comes down to our eliminating mistakes ... stop beating ourselves ... and that's a test of the team's coaching ... So, we'll see how it plays out, but for one, I believe the offense is better than I expected and the D line also. Special teams make ya wanna puke ... We're still the best in the NFC; of course, proving it is what counts ! JB
