CodeWright Delivers the Editing Power Programmers Demand

Starbase Corporation (NASDAQ:SBAS), a leading provider of enterprise

lifecycle, today announced an OEM agreement with Embarcadero Technologies,
Inc. (NASDAQ:EMBT) a leading provider of application and database lifecycle
management solutions. Under the terms of the agreement, each new product
release of DBArtisan(R), Rapid SQL(R), and Embarcadero(TM) Change Manager,
will include an embedded version of CodeWright, Starbase's Programmers'
Editing System. Embarcadero Technologies is expected to begin shipping the
new product in the fall of 2002.
Starbase and Embarcadero Technologies have been technology partners since
November of 2001. This is the first OEM agreement forged between the two
companies.
