Do you have a problem with a hydrogen-based economy, if silicon technology with titanium dioxide + carbon catalysts produce hydrogen fuel for fuel cell use directly from water and sunlight... and it is an economically viable technology?

This could cut the chains binding us to the fossil fuel economy, and move us to a solar / hydrogen economy.

Daimler Chrysler, GM, and Ford all say that the internal combustion engine will be 'dead' sometime between 2016 and 2022... at which point they will be manufacturing fuel cell powered vehicles exclusively.
