That post by Earlie had 12 responses, and probably a lot more by now.
Is the correction over yet? I dont think so.
1. For example, if one were to try to bring only one tech stock (Csco) back to life( its highest market cap). The 60 mm US investors would each have to buy $10,000 of Csco stock
2. There were, if I read it correctly , 839000 brokers in NY State. And the NAS is down 80% from its peak.
Thus now a huge surplus -who are still trying to make their old earnings off the 20% of the value left in tech stocks. And practically no new IPO's in sight which were most lucrative.
3. MER has just limited their trading to only 2400 stocks. Which means many of the techs
(who should have declared bankruptsy years ago) have no hoopla and pizzaz needed to sell the bonds which might have kept them in business. And they will drop below $5/shr and have to declare reverse splits to stay listed on the NAS.
Altogether, IMO.its not nice out there for bulls..
