And yet that is self destructive. Far better to learn from the mistake and move on. Taking something productive away from the experience, becoming a more careful person, and yet, managing also not to be burdened by negative emotions. I really don't see the point of anger at oneself. As long as one learns from mistakes, that is (imo) more productive and better than guilt or shame. Give me learning any old day. A guilty shameful person might just keep doing the same old thing over and over again.
