Your words seem to underscore my point. Who is the CIC. Hope you were not on the debating team. JFD

Remember, this was 1941, not 2002. They had plenty of warning the day of, but not a lot beforehand. You also must remember that the only people who had warning were the theatre commanders, not the CIC. I'd love to discuss this topic with you further, but the Intel board is probably not the best place... PM me and we can move it to either PM or e.mail.
