I was at a Catholic church to pick up a friend working as a carpenter fixing pews a few years back. He was just finishing up when this lady came out of the confessional, lit a candle, genuflected and hurried out. The priest came out of his cubby hole, blew out the candle and said as he walked by us, "it will take more than a 25cent candle to erase that whores sins".
