I've seen the average pay of 100k printed several times in the Bay Area. The thing I haven't seen, is whether it includes benefits. Years ago when I worked for a municipality, our 'salaries' were printed in the local newspaper each year (to show how over-paid we were), but they included benefits which almost doubled my reported income to the general public. It never seemed to make it to my bank account though. Rob
