POWER PITBULL CANDIDATES for week of 7/21/97 HKT LEN. Short list. Seems like the size of the list might give some indication as to the health of the market. Neither HKT or LEN are viable in my opinion. LEN is 25% above its 52-wk high, and HKT has such an eratic basing formation. I did sell some more stock today: AGC (-1.1%), BBBY (-3.2%), CAT (+16.5%), CR (+21.0%), LIFB (+8.6%), TKR (+23.8%), VMC (+19.1%). Still own ANV ECL HUBC MTL NMTX SUNW SYB WBST. NMTX & SUNW have been very good to me over the past week. I won't be online as regularly for the next couple of weeks. I'm having hardware problems. I am logged on now using my son's computer. I don't want to impose too much, so I will limit my access like a good Dad/father-in-law. (g) John
