I certainly think that Brinker has done some cherry picking in his presentation of newsletter results on his Web page (last time I looked). It seems to be all too common for people to emphasize their strengths and de-emphasize their weaknesses in advertising. For example, I have seen other newsletter writers emphasize their individual stock picks while de-emphasizing their mutual fund recommendations.
