I wouldn't want the students to even accept the teachers as final arbiters in regard to matters of particular facts let alone moral theories. When I was in elementary school I corrected my teachers statements of fact on a couple of occasions. And of course I did not revert to blind acceptance of what the teacher said on moving on to higher levels of education.
