Shorts should be careful here

YHOO will probably hit the .04 whisper tomorrow night.
That, coupled with renewed vigor in the retail sector
now that the dockyard strike has been frozen, will give
ebaY the support it needs to lift into earning release
a week from Thursday. Today's $77 price target upgrade
did not help much either. Also the market is way over
sold near term, and we should see a few days of rally.
While earnings are disappointing, earnings warnings are
over, so the market is already poised for bad news, so
more bad news won't hurt, but any good news helps a lot!

I went long under $52 and will sell then short sometimes
during the height of any optimism spike before 10/17.
Then I'll try to stay short since the insider selling
pressure will be overwhelming. Also I'm pretty sure
we'll see some sort of Military action in November,
that uncertainty will take everybody down, hopefully
for the last time. Then it's possible ebaY will
rebuild into Xmas, and I'll be looking to cover.

Does anyone know if PayPal converted shares to ebaY
are subject to an insider lockout from selling for
30 or 90 days? That could be a near term issue as
26mil shares were "created" at nearly 8% dilution
in ebaY from this merger.
