I think the analysts are right. I just question the timeliness of this information. Very few analysts are willing to step up and say a stock is overvalued when the stock is doing well but its sales and profits are unsustainable. Among those who do urge caution you find a handful who are consistently bearish. If one followed their advice you would have missed most of the last bull market. What I would like to see is an even handed approach from analysts in general. I now know I can make money long or short in the stock market. Frankly I don't care which direction things go but I remind all those who read this thread that the same analysts who cut 5, 10, 15, 20, 25% off of a stock price with a downgrade can restore value almost as easily. That is not something I like but it is something that we can hope to benefit from in this case on the long side because we are getting closer to a real bottom. All the above is once again in my not so humble and all too often wrong opinion. RtS
