I revisited EP after the close. I have to say the daily pattern is not all that inviting here. It's still a black candle down, long tail (takuri) on the bottom to be sure, but it would have made such a nice hammer reversal pattern if it could have closed stronger, say at 5.85~5.95. Now, I'm not asking for $6, mind you, but it would have made a nice white hammer at that spot and been a lot more encouraging for tomorrow's buyers.

As I was driving in my car today it struck me that EP's pattern is like watching a basketball, dropped to the floor, bounce, bounce, bounce until it finally finds a bottom. Today's action may turn out to be a bottom but at this point in time it's impossible for me to say that.
