RTS, I realize now, too late i suspect, that i should never have gotten involved in this game. Came into money in 1998, signed up with a tech newsletter in 99 and made money thru mid 2000. Then wipe out. Al says at 20X earning amat will be 11 in 2004 due to more conservative valuations. Cary says a four bagger in 5 years and he said that when amat was 15 i believe. Both of those guys are smart and yet they are in 2004 they probably 150% apart(al 11 and cary probably 250(25-30). The only thing i know is that even if al is right and amat trades at 11 sometime in 04 it will also trade higher that year in times of greater optimism which better come again if this country is to survive. As far as citibank, who knew how corrupt this group actually is/was? I shoulda. I worked as a broker in early 70s and apparently nothing has changed--it only got worse. mike
