The traffic goes both ways. If you look at (at least some) Honda Accords assembled in Japan, you'll find over 60% U.S. and Canadian parts (its on the sticker).

Does Mercedes Benz really unload at West Coast ports? Or are you just trying to make a point, that wouldn't sound as good if you used Kia or Lexus?
