The fuel cell will have at least double the efficiency in generating electricity cf to a generator attached to a big diesel engine. That will at least halve the amount of CO2 being produced. The S will have to be removed at the refinery anyway. There will be no NOX pollutants from a fuel cell unlike regular engines.
