(NYSE: FDC), announced the signing of a money transfer agreement with Bank Mandiri Indonesia, the nation's largest bank in terms of assets, loans and deposits. This multi-year contract will allow Western Union to offer money transfer services in up to 630 branches throughout Indonesia. The addition of Bank Mandiri will bring Western Union's total number of Indonesian agent locations to more than 2,000. Bank Mandiri, a household name in Indonesia, provides comprehensive financial service to more than 6 million corporate and individual customers as well as small and medium sized enterprises. Its addition to the Western Union agent network will expand availability of Western Union services and aid Indonesian expatriates in the Middle East, Asia, Australia, North America and Europe who continue to send funds to loved ones back home.
