Oh, Del, I am quite soft-spoken, prim and proper (in a post-therapy, California kind of way)!! I was just getting so much flak for being SERIOUS all the time here that something snapped and the most outrageous side of me appeared for awhile. I guess I am multi-faceted!
I can certainly tell you that my family has absolutely no knowledge of my predilection for elongated garden vegetables, and they would simply die of shock if they read any of my posts. I don't think that Miss Penni's husband Dan realizes that Thomas licked the birthday frosting from inbetween her cyber toes, either, and we certainly won't tell him!! I find this kind of a make-believe, fantasy place in some aspects, with a lot of reality, and interesting thoughts and feelings, all woven in. Sort of a cyber-soup!!
I actually lead a quiet, respectable middle class life. The only thing the neighbors could ever fault me for is loud rock and roll music, when I feel like dancing, but my neighbors are so old they might all be deaf or something--no one has ever complained. I try to be considerate of people, and would turn it down if it bothered anyone.
My husband is from Ireland, which means that he is pretty conservative about the way women dress, talk, and behave in public. He hasn't a clue about loin honey, I can promise you!! The way to his heart is traditional--with a freshly baked apple pie or something. The people I work with think I am a little um, artistic and brave or something, because I can be rebellious and outspoken, but they would be surprised to find out about the catfights we have had here, because I get along pretty well with women in my 3D life.
The reason I have such a stupid old car is that cars are not very important to me right now as long as they are very safe and run well, which my old Volvo station wagon does. I know that making car payments would suck all the energy out of my bank account, so I have always paid cash for cars. I actually like Mercedes more than Volvos, but they are very expensive to repair, so I don't have one at the moment. I really don't like working and don't want to do it much longer, so I am simplifying my life by living very frugally so that the money I make gets invested, instead of being spent on luxury items.
Now if I could just make my money grow instead of wither and die on the tiny, undiscovered, volatile tech stock vine!!!
