It reminds me of ... I think it was the 'post hoc' fallacy... or maybe it was the 'precedence' fallacy.... "Last year in county XYZ 20% more asphalt was poured." "This year, in XYZ the rainfall was up 18%." "Therefore: we have proved that asphalt causes rain!" <G>
