Not at all. Although it's not one of the most important indicators, it has been talked about in posts here at least once or twice during the past year, or so.

At one time or another, in the past several years have had positions in or ST traded GG, HL, MDG, GLG, and a lot of others. Never sure how long the ride is going to be in a market like this :)

Don't have any HL in the portfolio. But not hard to see the lower support areas in it's chart, if she can't turn and rally a bit here. $3.10 to 2.90 zone looks interesting. If we get down there, just have to see what the gold sector, the broad market and the dollar action is telling us at that time.

Same with energy. The two I mentioned on the thread several times during that weak 2 wk rally, over a month ago, were KEG and CRK.

Both have plenty of volume, so you don't subject yourself to the accusation of pushing thin volume stocks that could arguably be easy targets of manipulation via promotion on a popular web thread like this one. Of course there are some clowns who will attack you no matter what you do. But who cares what they think?!<G>

Glad you're posting with us. Your TA competence allows some of us to focus on important areas that we'd otherwise have less time to look at, and post about. With me, it's secular and cyclical themes, macro economics, FA, some sentiment work, the FED, or just having some fun. Which is a real necessity in a major Bear Market.
