JSN - I won't venture a guess at earnings. Because so much transition is happening within the company, there are too many unpredictables on both the expense and revenue sides.

I do expect to see a lot of SG&A costs this quarter. The reorg and new marketing plan expenses will be high. Also, I wouldn't rule out another "one time charge" for the Cray acquisition, or the other company they recently acquired. Margins will probably still be pretty low at this point since they are just beginning the new product cycle.
The good news I'm looking for is increased sales of graphics systems, new significant customers on the database and internet commerce side, and improvement in getting products out the door.

Other tea leaves: If my theory about the lack of a press release barrage is correct, they should do pretty well this time around. Also, institutions "still do own SGI stock". If earnings were really going to be punk, I would have expected to see a gradual downslide in the share price in the past few weeks as people hear the whispers. But the price has risen somewhat since the end of June.

Regards
Jeff
