The individual seems to favor an arts and craft chain called "Michael's." After this morning's attack in Manassas, Virginia, I checked the Michael's site and found one in Manassas. I ran a check on the street address through Mapquest and found that the shooting was close to the Michael's. This was the case in Fredericksburg, Virginia; Bowie, Maryland; Rockville, Maryland, and now Manassas, Virginia. Maybe the person's name is Michael.
His last two attacks prior to Manassas were body shots and the victims lived. This individual appears to want to show he can kill and these survivors probably upset the sniper. The victim in Manassas was a head shot. With the sniper's accuracy, he may stick to head shots.
The sniper appears intent on hits in the counties around Washington City and the city itself. From what we know, he had one day of shots in Montgomery County, one in Prince George's County, one in Prince William County, one in Spotsylvania County, and one in Washington, City. Maybe he will make hits in about three or four more counties and then move on.
The first shot was in a Maryland County and then moved down the road into Washington City that night. The next was in a Virginia County. The next was in a Maryland County. Finally, today was in a Virginia County again. If the person follows this pattern, the next shot may be in Maryland near a Michael's. This is simple stuff and I am sure the police have picked up on it. |
