There is a balance between using all means to correct stupid thinking and providing positive reinforcement to those expressing stupid thinking. Any positive reinforcement is like putting an innocent person in jail and I avoid it as completely as I can.

Having seen so many examples of stupid thinking folks misread was is clearly said, I choose what I say and who I say it to with care.

Look at the example of poor buddy who chose to speak to me.
