Maybe you are getting a little too pessimistic like a lot of people are these days, a probable sign of a market bottom. But, even from the depth of a depression, it is possible to rebound. And there are many roads to success.
Probably best to compare the new EMC, the one putting emphasis on software and services and not so much on hardware, with the likes of Sun, Oracle, SAP, IBM, which went from rags to riches, and back, with different varieties of that mix. The coming expansion will be a different ball-game where the quality of management, its vision, boldness, will again make the difference. This is why I still put my confidence in EMC, hoping (what else to do ?) that the sun will shine again for most, and more for some. |
