You were asked a direct question. Do you regard what the Congressman did, the words, the place, the context as treason. I do. I prefer hanging over shooting those guilty of treason. Some whine about some free speech issue. I don't see it as a free speech issue at all. They were free to speak in a treasonous way in a foreign country. What they said was criminal. The words, the place, the context.

I don't know how to say this other than bluntly. But note I use the term, I suggest, I infer, It seems to me.
What rules are in place and the rules being ignored were created by the sacrifice of 299 Americans giving their lives and that elevates my consideration of The words, the place, the context.

Saying an American President will lie to instigate a war is accusing the President of Treason. What better words of propaganda can be had by Saddam to rouse the useful idiots to be cannon fodder and lead to more Americans dying.

There are times for outrage. I suggest you don't seem to have the ability to be outraged and that is a prevalent problem and is why America is what it is.
