John one could say we went to Vietnam for oil... There is a lot off the coast of Vietnam. Ed R. Morrow back in the 50's did a piece on Vietnam and drilling for oil and expectations of how much there was in the waters off their coast... I still remember seeing the clip on his show.oil rigs etc... Plus still remember one of his books from college days.. forgot the title. see ya
