Other bear funds include USPIX, and the four from the Rydex series - Ursa, Tempest, Arktos, and Venture. There are many others, though I can't remember them all. You might check out the Prudent Bear's site for more suggestions.

Another idea other than going short is to go long on some of the exchange traded muni bond funds that have been doing well the past few months; most of the ones from Van Kampen and Nuveen are in this class.
