Last I heard via the Seattle Times is that housing inventory ramped significantly after Labor Day and buyers and sellers are both becoming patient. Last couple of months information says that sales have slowed, but prices only slightly so far.

I personally suspect that thanks to 9-11, the markets out of the city will be hotter for a while.

Last time I drove by Issaquah on a Friday evening, it was 7 pm when I zipped by their main offramp, and the backup must have been a mile long along I-90 (and really creeping). That is really appalling, and it boggles me that people would move out there and to endure that.
