O.T. Hawkmoon, don't you think its wise to contain all sources of radioactivity. Of course, it would be wise to start with the more radioactive sources and work down to the less radioactive sources. Since granite is more radioactive than depleted uranium we simply must provide containment for the rock in the Canadian shield.

If that task is daunting perhaps we should start with all those fashionable granite countertops.
