| All that is necessary is that others subject the statement to criticism. If bias can be shown, fine, if not, it stands as objective. It is silly to say there is always bias in assertions, IMHO. For example, it is simply true that I live in Bethesda now. Since that is true, it is also true that I am much closer to Washington than I was when I lived in Annapolis. I don't even have to drive it, I know by the relative distance on the map. Thus, all other things being equal, it will be easier to go into Washington than it was. Again, no bias, just an immediate inference from the change of distance. None of these are opinions, they are all simply factual statements........ |
