Matt, the polls here in the UK show about 1/3 in favor, 2/3 against.
However, my man in the street poll indicates 10% support for it.
In other words, outside of the press, no one much cares.
I didn't hear the speech..
Personally I think Bush-lite, for whatever reasons, has invested (wasted) way too much political capital on this Iraq thing.
It just makes no sense to me.
But the flipside is I (we) don't have the intel that he does, but based on the events of 9-11-01 I use the term intel lightly....
