I haven't heard whether your problem has been fixed yet with the 2 video cards and XP but I recall having a similar problem with Win 98....I think I fixed that by physically removing the non-working card; also removing it using the device manager and then physically re-installing in a different slot....boot up and then let Win recognize the new hardware

Can't promise if it will work but it did for me!
