George, I think the fear is not that Iraq has the power to out right attack us, but that they will threaten the region and us with chemical, biological, and ultimately nuclear weapons, either directly or by using terrorist surrogates.

Ron Paul has been a very interesting figure in Texas politics for some years. He is really a libertarian, rather than a conservative Republican. My own opinion, FWIW, is that his fears are exaggerated.
