The high IP barriers are one very big reason why this sector should receive a healthy premium IMO. Chip companies like MU may be at risk, but I am not sure China could even compete in the equipment business for at least a decade or more. Given the chance, most of their home-grown brains will probably make the trip to SV anyway, another BIG mark against them. BK
