You may find that the people of Iraq are a little less oppressed (especially in the religious sense) than Afghans were, and they have hated the US for more than a decade (for reasons that we may agree with or not).

I would expect far less enthusiasm in Iraq to the American forces, if I were the strategist in charge of this invasion.
