Two People Seen Inside Van in Friday's Sniper Attack
(CNSNews.com) - Two people were inside the van spotted at the scene of Friday's sniper attack in Massaponax, Va., according to witnesses, Spotsylvania County Sheriff Ronald Knight said. A Virginia state trooper, who was across the street making a traffic stop, did not see anything, but heard gunfire, Knight said. The victim, identified only as a black male, was shot and killed around 9:45 am Friday morning at an Exxon gas station in the Fredericksburg area (about 50 miles south of the Washington Capital Beltway). He died after being transported to the hospital. The Secret Service, U.S. Marshal Service, ATF and FBI are part of the investigation, Knight said. Some evidence, which was retrieved from the scene, is on its way to an ATF lab. Scroll News This Hour for Details and See Earlier Story
